We have been working hard in Young Scholars.  We are working on two voice poems with a partner.  These are poems that introduce each other to the class.  In math we are working on tessellations, which is a fancy word for when objects are shifted, flipped, or rotated.  This is an area that comes up often on MCA's and uses higher order thinking skills.

We had a great first day!  We got to know each other and the new teachers.  Please bring a snack, let the office know of any busing changes, and ask your student what they did today.  Thank you for sending your child to young scholars.  We need changes to bus schedules in writing so we get each child home safely.  Thank you!
